Frequently Asked Questions

How is this different from the limit switches we're already using?

Limit switches indicate valve position only and commonly break when the check valve arm slams down. OPTI-FLOW™ confirms actual flow, not just valve position, and becomes part of the valve arm with no exposed components to break.

Can we install it without modifying our existing check valve?

Yes. OPTI-FLOW™ is a simple retrofit that mounts directly onto your existing check valve arm with an adjustable bracket. No special tools required.

Does it just send an alert, or can it shut the pump down on its own?

Both. OPTI-FLOW™ signals automatic shutdown when no flow is detected and can be wired to trigger an alarm or horn for immediate notice.
